Richard Kouwenhoven
President & Chief Operating Officer, Hemlock Printers
Kouwenhoven has served as Hemlock’s President and Chief Operating Officer since 2012. He is also President of Hemlock Harling Distribution Ltd., a mailing, distribution and fulfillment services company based in Richmond, B.C. Obtaining his Bachelor of Technology Degree from Ryerson University’s Graphic Communication Management program in 1996, he has 25+ years of hands-on print industry experience in a number of roles, from Production to Senior Management. Kouwenhoven is the lead on Hemlock’s Sustainability Initiatives which have earned the company numerous national and international awards. He has also served as the Chair of the Canadian Printing Industries Association since 2017.
